The Heart of the Home
Said to be the heart of a home, a kitchen can set
the tone of a house. Creating a warm and
functional kitchen played a key role in Oak's design
and construction of this single-story addition
The striking simplicity of the spacious kitchen complements the Prairie-style home. The natural beauty and texture of granite and wood counters creates a natural yet elegant atmosphere. The restaurant-grade Viking appliances, three sinks and multiple refrigerators and freezers turn this kitchen into a highly functional workspace for the culinary aficionado. To blend the kitchen with the existing first floor, we selected sawn Oak cabinetry to match the woodwork in the dining room.
In addition to remodeling and expanding the kitchen, Oak Design & Construction created a new family room, mudroom and full basement for future recreation space.
